The Arena house b&b is situated in the Monte Celio, one of the seven hills on which Rome was originally founded.

Many legends and prophecy from the middle ages surround Coliseum, the most famous one is from Venerando Beda (VII 'VIII ) who said "When the Coliseum falls, Rome will also fall. But when Rome falls, the world will also end."
You will be able to take wonderful walks along via Dei Fori Imperiali, enjoying magnificent views of the ruins of Imperial Rome and afterwards relax in the park of Villa Celimontana, one of the most beautiful villas in Rome.
This park is situated on the ancient hill Celio, where in summer evenings you can also enjoy live jazz music.
You can also easily access Rome's famous shopping streets like: Via Condotti, Via Frattina, Via Veneto, where you will find the boutiques of Italy's most famous designers.

How to reach us:
Taxi: From Termini train station the fare is about 13 euro ( max.)
Autobus: 30B, 75, 81, 175, 186, 204, 673, 810, 850, 60 express
Metro: From Termini station catch the B line (direction Laurentina) and get off at Colosseo stop.
By Car: From Termini station take Via Cavour in the direction of Santa Maria Maggiore Church and drive until the end, take Via Dei Fori Imperiali and drive to the direction of Colosseo. Take Via Labicana and turn right to via Celimontana, The third to the right is Via Marco Aurelio where the Arena House is.
From the airport Fiumicino: Take the train to Termini station then, take the metro( B line) direction Laurentina and get off to Colosseo station.
Shuttle service: The Arena house offer pick-up service from/to the Ciampino or Fiumicino airport. The price for the service is 45 euros per car (max 4 person) and must be reserved with advance.
